I wandered off to the edge of the Philippines (well, at least of the island of Mindanao) to catch the sunset at Gumasa beach in Glan, Saranggani, about three hours drive from General Santos.

The water is not as crystal clear as I'd hope, but it was clean nonetheless. However, the sand is indeed so powdery that this beach is often-times touted the next Boracay... which I pray not, as it might lose its simple and quiet charm.
